Indy's Next Starts Here.
IndyHub’s 1828 Leadership Project is a nine-month leadership development experience designed to help emerging leaders build the skills, relationships, and confidence to make an impact in Indianapolis. Through interactive sessions, community experiences, and connections with established civic leaders, participants gain a deeper understanding of the city and the role they can play in shaping its future.
More than a traditional leadership program, 1828 creates a pipeline for the next generation of Indy’s civic leadership—helping young people expand their networks, discover new ways to engage, and turn their passion for Indianapolis into action.

The Breakdown
The 1828 Leadership Project is IndyHub's premier leadership development experience for emerging leaders who are passionate about shaping the future of Indianapolis.

Throughout the nine-month program, participants build meaningful relationships across industries, explore the systems that influence our city, develop their leadership capacity, and become more deeply connected to Indianapolis and one another.
We are seeking individuals primarily between the ages of 18 and 28 who demonstrate leadership potential, a commitment to community, curiosity about our city's future, and a willingness to grow alongside a diverse group of peers.
This is an applicant-led process. Complete the form in your own voice and ask one reference to provide additional perspective on your leadership and community engagement.
