Ashley’s Holiday Countdown | CCA’s Santa Stumble

Friends, please stand up and raise your hand if you cannot believe that Thanksgiving is already upon us! (Insert hand emoji here). This year I’ve found myself with at least three more Thanksgiving dinners to attend than usual – wow. So, how do I plan on walking off my turkey coma? I’m glad you asked. On Saturday, December 2 you can find me walking off those calories with a beer in hand… contradictory you say? Nah, because I’ll be participating in Circle City Athletics’ (CCA) Annual Santa Stumble Pub Crawl – which benefits six different non-profits including IndyHub!

This event made it on my holiday countdown because who doesn’t want to grab a bunch of friends, craft the coolest/ugliest holiday sweater [Editor’s note: our staff is going all out for this] and drink beer and drink beer and drink beer and drink beer. See what I’m saying, here?

So, read on as I ask Bryan Bernard, CCA’s Marketing and Operations Manager more about the event and you might fight a special code buried deep in our interview so read carefully!

Ashley Miser: Hey, Bryan. Long time no see (we recently ran into each other, because, Indy. (Heart)) For those of us who might not know about your work, tell us more. What does CCA do?

Bryan Bernard: CCA is the leading organizer of co-ed adult sports leagues, fun-filled social and corporate events, and sports tournaments in the Indianapolis area. We offer over 20 different sports, social leagues, tournaments, and a multitude of events to over 19,000 participants. We have a large variety of leagues for all skill levels, if you haven’t already, you should give CCA a try, I have a strong feeling you will love it!

AM: And how long have you worked for Circle City Athletics?

BB: I have been working for Circle City Athletics since June, and what an awesome time it has been. Between planning our amazing events, Santa Stumble Pub Crawl and our NYE party at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, while getting a chance to know the CCA community out at our leagues, I couldn’t have asked to be around a more fun-filled environment!

AM: Cool. How can people get involved?

BB: Anyone can sign up to play at CCASports.com to play as either a complete team or a free agent for the league of their choice!

AM: This year you all changed Santa Stumble to include more of the community, what made you all decide to do this?

BB: We love Indianapolis and being a part of not just our own CCA community, but the Indianapolis community as a whole. We saw an opportunity to connect the CCA community to 6 different amazing local organizations and have a great time in the process, so we had to jump on it! There is so much to love about Indianapolis, and we want to continue to be a part of one of those reasons to love this city!

AM: And may I add…IndyHub is excited to be one of the teams this year! Thank you for this opportunity.

AM: So, when folks purchase their Santa Stumble ticket what can they expect?

BB: You can expect to be a part of the best holiday pub crawl in Indianapolis. You will Stumble around 6 different bars in Broad Ripple with nearly 1000 other Stumblers, led around by CCA leaders in the group you choose (Shout out to Joe Perin for volunteering as the IndyHub group leader!). You will also be provided with 2 free Coors Lights, access to some amazing specials at all of the bars, a Santa Stumble ½ liter refillable mug good for $2.50 Coors Lights, and a limited-edition Santa Stumble scarf (quantities limited)! Tickets for the 4th Annual Santa Stumble are available on the IndyHub calendar. Sign up today in the group of your choice (go blue, IndyHub!) to support amazing organizations, and have a great time doing it!

AM: One more thing for our fellow readers, right Bryan?

BB: Of course! Who shouldn’t be rewarded for reading through our interview (duel laughter ensues). The promo code, which I’ve coined the ‘IndyHub Gobble Gobble Turkey Special’, is STUMBLEWITHINDYHUB. The code will be good starting at 5pm on Friday, November 17 all the way through noon on Thanksgiving, and it will be good for $3 off tickets to the IndyHub Blue group!

AM: Bryan, Thank you! You heard him people, sign up and grab this awesome discount on what is sure to be a fun time!

See you there, friends!
