Santino Fontana @ The Cabaret
Sep 29 @ 7:00 pm

With his rich voice, dynamic versatility, and charisma, Santino Fontana is one of Broadway’s favorite leading men. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his literally charming performance as Prince Topher in Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Other Broadway credits include The Importance of Being Earnest, Brighton Beach Memoirs (Drama Desk Award), Billy Elliot, and Sunday in the Park with George. Film and television fans will recognize him as the voice of another prince—the villainous Hans in Disney’s Frozen—as well as the overlooked singing barman, Greg, in the CW series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Alice Ripley & Emily Skinner: Unattached! The Cabaret’s Annual Fundraiser Gala @ The Cabaret
Nov 10 @ 6:30 pm

Two divas are better than one in an evening that showcases some of musical theater’s best loved songs as well as some beautiful surprises. Unattached celebrates friendship, rivalry, and deep affection between two powerhouse Broadway performers: Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner. These award-winning stars of the original critically acclaimed Side Show perform one show-stopping number after another with brassy humor, heartbreak and joy. Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner received a Tony Award co-nomination for their roles in Side Show. Separately, Alice and Emily have starred in numerous other Broadway shows including The Full Monty, Next To Normal, Billy Elliot, The Rocky Horror Show, and many more. Alice received a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Next to Normal.

Jane Lynch: A Swingin’ Little Christmas @ The Cabaret
Dec 8 @ 7:00 pm – Dec 9 @ 9:30 pm

Broadway and Emmy Award winning actress Jane Lynch and her posse are back for a comically kitsch throwback to the old WWII USO canteen and 1960’s Christmas specials of yore. Lynch is joined by fellow comedic actress Kate Flannery (The Office) and the oh-so-dapper Glee vocal arranger, Tim Davis. Together they navigate in and out of tight three-part harmonies, backed by the Tony Guerrero Quintet, whose leader penned the original tunes, including the comedic “Sentimental Christmas” and the more elegant “Winter’s Never Cold (When You’re Around).” Covers include “We Three Kings” and an especially jaunty “Up on the Housetop.” The show celebrates the album of the same name, with swingin’ arrangements of Christmas classics and originals.
