Tour de Upland: What to Know

Summer is here, and at Upland Brewing Co., we couldn’t be more stoked about the season.

To celebrate the end of summer, we’re inviting you to our version of summer camp for adults. Each August, we take over CYO Camp Rancho Framasa in Brown County, Indiana, for our annual Bike & Brew Bash, Tour de Upland! This year, the festivities will be held August 12-14 with all the biking beers, live music, games, and camping you can handle in the great outdoors.

TourdeuplandFriday, August 12, we’ll set up camp, open the beer taps and kick it by the campfire—followed by a rowdy game of trivia. On Saturday, you’ll have free reign to cruise the famous Brown County hills or check out the mountain biking trails at Brown County State Park. After all, Tour de Upland was born out of our love for putting the pedal to the pavement, both road and trail. Depending on how hard you want to work, there are four different road routes this year ranging from 20 miles to 100 miles. Riders can venture to Brown County State Park and explore the mountain biking trails for a different challenge.

Not into cycling? Come camp with us and enjoy some games you’re likely to remember (or not) from your college days: think beer pong round robin.  Did we mention craft beer and live music? The taps start flowing Friday night and don’t stop til Sunday afternoon. You can expect Upland classics like Wheat and Dragonfly IPA but we’ll be bringing some of the best of the season too: Petal to the Kettle Kettle Soured Ale brewed with hibiscus and strawberries and Marion the Agrarian our tasty dry-hopped farmhouse ale.

Put your game face on and get ready to send summer off with a bang. Weekend and day passes are now available at tourdeupland.com
