The Joseph Maley Fitness program utilizes adapted sports and activities to nurture a strong sense of self-esteem and positive self-image for children of all abilities. Volunteers are paired up with an athlete 1 on 1 and they will help this athlete progress and learn about the different sport/activity. You can teach skills, safety, and technique for programs including: swimming, running, basketball, baseball, yoga, art, and many more to come. These programs are really individualized and adaptive clinics that allow you to really build a great relationship with athletes of all abilities and backgrounds.

Our programs are typically only once 1 week for about 45 minutes- 1 hour, usually on Sunday afternoons or Saturday mornings. You will need to go through one 45 minutes training session (free provided by us) before joining. Our programs are free to volunteer and is little time commitment. If you can’t attend every week that is not a problem as we welcome anyone to serve as a substitute and help whenever they are available.
