General Administrative Help- Tuesday thru Friday

We have needs in various administrative categories. We are looking for people who would like to volunteer at least one day a week for 1-2 hours weekly. Administrative Duties would include but not limited to:

  • Helping to circulate marketing materials to our partners in Lawrence
  • Data Entry
  • Inventory
  • Filing
  • Answering phone/Checking voicemail
  • Returning Phone Calls
  • Assisting with ticket sales for box office
  • Calling volunteers
  • Assist in volunteer screening/coordinating

Theater at the Fort Event Assistant- Single Day, Evenings or Weekends (Shows)

We have two needs during events/performances at the Theater at the Fort:

1. Theater Event Assistant
The theater event assistant will assist with box office, ticket taking, ushering

2. Licensed Concession Assistant
The concession assistant must be at least 21 years of age and must obtain a volunteer employee permit through the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission. This person will run the concession/bar during performances.

Our volunteers will need to obtain an Arts for Lawrence “Volunteer Membership” for $40. Membership details: Volunteer memberships are for our most committed followers! Volunteer membership benefits include training, an Arts for Lawrence staff shirt and exclusive access to all shows you assist with. Volunteer members are asked to serve a minimum of 40 hours per year at Theater at the Fort or Arts for Lawrence signature events. Arts for Lawrence provides an annual volunteer recognition program and awards!
