Best Buddies Citizens creates one to one friendship opportunities between two community members who have similar interests, hobbies, and personalities.

By pairing a person with a disability in a friendship with someone without a disability, our organization is a stepping stone to a life-long friendship.

We are not a service provider, but instead provide an opportunity for people to get to know one another, be involved with the community, and develop a strong friendship by communicating weekly and spending time together on a monthly basis.

The Best Buddies Citizens members will get together as a large group once a quarter to hang out, meet others, and explore additional friendships.

We will also advertise Best Buddies Indiana events and events put on by the Best Buddies Indiana Young Professionals Council to all of our members. To ensure the safety of all of our participants we are required to administer a background check which costs $15. Each participant will be responsible for the $15 charge.
