Cleaning Kennels at Petsmart – Trader’s Point
Monday 9-10am, Tuesday 8-9pm, Wednesday 9-10am, Saturday 9-10am 8-9pm, Sunday 10-11am

  • Help is needed feeding, watering, interacting/playing with 5 adoptable cats at Petsmart in Trader’s Point. This is an ongoing need that will require a once per week commitment.

Dog Walking
7:30am-6pm, 7 day per week

  • It is very important to each dog’s health that they are able to exercise and stretch outside of their indoor kennel. Walking and interacting with adoptable dogs, as well as cleaning up after each dog in your care. Learn more and sign up!

Cat Enrichment
7:30am-6pm, 7 days per week

  • Cuddle, pet, and play with cats. Help our shelter cats de-stress and give them some one on one time. Learn more and sign up!

Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS) works in partnership with the community to promote and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the people and the pets in Marion County. IACS performs, but is not limited to, the following animal control functions: to protect the safety and welfare of people and animals within the community; to educate the public in public safety and humane issues regarding animal care; to enforce city ordinances and state statutes pertaining to animals; to assist the public in resolving animal issues; and to be a strong advocate for the approximately 14,000 animals that come to IACS yearly by way of Enforcement Operations and Kennel Operations.
