August 5, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (shifts available)

Building Tomorrow’s 5th annual Indy Burger Battle, presented by Red Gold, will be held on Saturday, August 5th, from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Georgia Street (West Block). The Indy Burger Battle is a grilling competition among local restaurants, and 900 attendees are expected this year that benefits Building Tomorrow. Volunteers are needed on the day of the event from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Volunteers can work the entire day or choose shifts. They will be needed for various tasks, such as selling or scanning tickets, event set-up or break-down, serving water, etc. If possible, some volunteers may also be needed prior to August 5th to help prepare for the event (ex. making burger skewers with restaurant logos).
