Sept. 8-13: variety of shift times morning to evening

We are looking for volunteers who are familiar with downtown Indianapolis, welcoming, friendly, and able to easily answer questions.

AZA Annual Conference Volunteer Opportunities include:

Friday, Sept. 8-Conference bag stuffing at Indiana Convention Center. Please join us to help prepare conference bags and attend a brief orientation to the Convention Center. Shift time is 10am-Noon or 2-4pm.

Saturday, Sept. 9- Conference activities at the Indiana Convention Center Volunteer assignments include: conference registration, hospitality, wayfinding, room monitors and floaters. Shift times range between 7am-5:30pm.

Sunday, Sept. 10- Conference activities at the Indiana Convention Center Volunteer assignments include: conference registration, hospitality, wayfinding, room monitors and floaters. Shift times range between 7am-6:15pm.

Sunday, Sept. 10 — Icebreaker event at the Indiana State Museum, 6:30-9:30pm Volunteer assignments include: set up, registration/check-in, wayfinding (both indoors and outdoors) and floaters. Shift times range between 4:45-10pm.

Monday, Sept. 11 — Conference activities at the Indiana Convention Center Volunteer assignments include: conference registration, hospitality, wayfinding, speaker prep room (computer-savvy volunteers preferred), room monitors, silent auction monitors and floaters. Shift times range between 7am-5:30pm.

Tuesday, Sept. 12 —Conference activities at the Indiana Convention Center Volunteer assignments include: conference registration, hospitality, wayfinding, speaker prep room (computer-savvy volunteers preferred), room monitors, silent auction monitors and floaters. Shift times range between 7am-8pm.

Wednesday, Sept. 13 — Conference activities at the Indiana Convention Center Volunteer assignments include: hospitality, wayfinding, speaker prep room (computer-savvy volunteers preferred), room monitors, silent auction item pick up/check out and floaters. Shift times range between 7am-1pm.

Wednesday, Sept. 13-Zoo Day at the Indianapolis Zoo Noon-9pm A wide array of volunteer opportunities are available including wayfinding (both indoors and outdoors), hospitality, floaters and bus loading and unloading.

Volunteers are asked to attend an event orientation to learn more about the conference and volunteer assignments. You will receive your event t-shirt and materials so that you are prepared to answer guest questions and learn event details. Orientations will take place at the Indianapolis Zoo in the Polly Horton Hix Institute for Research and Conservation:
*Monday, Aug. 28, 2pm and 6pm
*Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2pm and 6pm
