Celebrate the stories of the city with the Indianapolis Art Center’s inaugural literary event Art of the Word! As a means to further connect artists with audiences in every avenue of creativity, this free event is collaborative byproduct of the Art Center, the Indiana Writers Center, Booth Magazine, Indiana Humanities, and the Indianapolis Anthology.

Over the course of the three hours patrons will be able to enjoy listening to works of emerging and established authors, partake in art activities, and browse around a pop-up book fair featuring local shops and literary organizations.

No matter if you’re a writer or a reader, bookworms of all sorts are welcome to take in the wonders of writing at Art of the Word.
