At long last, three of our favorite things—books, booze and science—are coming together in a monthly book club for the scientifically curious! This group will meet monthly in Indianapolis to talk about recent popular science books. A local scientist whose research relates to the book topic will join us to share insights and help guide the conversation.
All events are free and open to the general public. Each discussion is facilitated by Dr. Krista Hoffmann-Longtin, Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at IUPUI and specialist in science communications. Discussions also feature one or more guest scientists with expertise relevant to the book of the month. Find the book at your nearest library or bookstore and join us! Additional dates, almost always the last Tuesday of the month, and titles will be added in the future.
