More than a woman or a man, legendary rock goddess Hedwig Schmidt is coming to turn Indianapolis on its head. With her husband Yitzhak and her band, The Angry Inch, in tow, Hedwig is setting up shop The Park at the Phoenix, Indy’s coolest new urban outdoor entertainment venue, part of the Phoenix Theatre Cultural Centre at 712 N Illinois Street in Indianapolis. In Hedwig, the “internationally ignored song stylist” tells her tale of a botched sex change operation and her journey over the Berlin Wall. Along the way, she’s learned a thing or two about life. Come witness a night like you’ve never experienced before.
