Swan Lake

May 28, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join Ballet Theatre of Carmel Academy’s pre-professional company for a production full of magic, tragedy, and romance.

Swan Lake tells the story of Prince Siegfried and the lovely swan princess Odette. Audiences will be moved by the dancers’ portrayal of two of ballet’s most iconic roles – the pure and vulnerable white swan Odette and the bold and deceptive black swan Odile. Complete with gorgeous costumes, stunning sets, and Tchaikovsky’s moving musical score, Swan Lake is a production that will capture your imagination, tingle your spine, and stir your soul!

This is a family-friendly production with an intermission and pre- and post-show activities for all to enjoy! Children and adults alike will delight in choosing a delicious treat from the Swans’ Sweets Bakesale. While you’re snacking, browse the many treasures of the Ballet Boutique! It’s filled with handmade and specially selected pieces — swan-themed items of all shapes and sizes, hand-decorated pointe shoes, ballerina jewelry and more — for the dancer or Swan Lake enthusiast in your family. After the show, cast members in costume will be available for a meet-and-greet and photos in the beautifully decorated lobby.

The matinee performance stars Nisha Tague as Odette and Riley TerBush as Odile. The evening performance stars Hannah Brazus as Odette and Elizabeth Brame as Odile.
