Do you want to make your community a better place for everyone? Are you ready to speak up about the importance of affordable housing in our city and around the country? Prior to the arrival of COVID-19, a very real housing crisis existed in the Greater Indianapolis community. The result of housing instability and lack of economic equity is exacerbating the instability for families in our community as a result of COVID-19. Habitat’s solution of affordable homeownership is as important now as it has ever been.

On Monday, October 5th, in celebration of World Habitat Day, Greater Indy Habitat Young Professionals is hosting a night of education and voter activation at the soon-to-be West Washington Restore. Each of us has the power to make a difference in our community, so grab a friend and join us as we get ready for the November elections, learn about local and national housing issues, and get pumped about Habitat’s work to provide affordable homeownership for families. The event is free and refreshments will be provided. Open house festivities start at 6 and last until 8—can’t wait to see you there!
