IndyVolved 2015 in Review

IndyVolved’s all about making one-to-one connections between people and Indy-based nonprofits and civic organizations. Why? Because we believe in the power of that connection. And when you multiply that one-to-one by 100 or 1,000, that’s a really big deal.

This year’s IndyVolved 10 on June 18 was the greatest yet – in scale, reach, impact. (If you were able to join us, we’d love your thoughts on our attendee survey.)

We hosted nearly 100 nonprofit exhibitors at Indy’s Central Library, and they’re still sharing with us about the personal connections they made – many of which will continue to lead to new members, volunteers and donors.

IndyVolved also saw new sponsor companies (nine in all). And boasted an absolutely phenomenal event committee along with a number of incredible partner organizations who helped us pull it all together.

In two and a half hours more than 1,600 people made their way through the event. Friends were met and made. Pride in Indy was felt–or perhaps found. The energy was definitely high.

Even the League of Women Voters came onsite and helped attendees register to vote! (When we talk about being involved in the community – making an informed vote in local elections is huge.)

We’d say IndyVolved was a huge win and are already looking forward to having it again next year! And speaking of next year . . .

SAVE THE DATE

IndyVolved 11 will return to Central Library on June 9, 2016. Exhibitor information will be made available in March 2016.

*And one more thing that was great – the weather. Yes, it rained during the day and it was hot, but the skies cleared, the sun shone, and we were inside the whole time. For this event manager who’s had a string of outdoor events gone wrong with weather, this was a win!
