No Mean City

A citizen’s guide to community, culture, schools and housing in Marion County.

Maybe we’re biased, but we think indianapolis is the greatest city in the world.

In Indy, you can live any lifestyle you want, whether that’s urban, rural, or anything in between. We’re home to the dreamers and the doers– the people who really want to make a difference– and Hoosiers are passionate about their city. No Mean City tells our stories, sharing the culture and vibrancy of our neighborhoods and communities.

So, what’s the story here?

In 2016, we launched an initiative to celebrate and promote the livability of our city. No Mean City shares the stories of our city– our people. While this is very much a platform to share our love for Indy, it’s also a tool and resource that many companies are utilizing to recruit talented workers to their companies. Watching the videos and stories about Indy give a glimpse into what life is like in the Circle City– and we believe that everyone can find a place in Indianapolis.

No Mean City would not be possible without the generous support of these organizations. They make our city what it is today and together, shape its bold future.
