How do you spend your days?
I work at my vintage clothing business Naptown Thrift 6 days a week. I spend my days restocking our latest finds and meeting new customers while fitting in some time to make new music in between.
Where are you originally from?
I am from Indianapolis by way of the Broad Ripple area.
You’re off the clock. What are your favorite things to do when not at work?
When off the clock I am usually hunting for new gear to restock my shop with or creating music.
When thinking about the future of Indianapolis, what are you looking forward to the most and why?
I am looking forward to the growth of the creative independent entrepreneurial scene in the city. It has grown and been showcased more every year and it’s exciting to see come to life.
Are there any local causes that you support?
I support the local American Legion by donating unused clothing to returning veterans.
Do you have a favorite local spot that you love going to? Where and why?
I love going to Murat Park because it’s quiet and I used to go there as a kid to skip rocks on the water with my dad.
Which is your preferred way to get around our city?
I drive my hand-me-down Subaru. Not flashy but it does the trick.
What’s something underrated about Indy that more people should know about?
More people should know about some of the many social events that provide a fun networking opportunity for many and are a great way to see many of the local talents in the city. These include Who’s Who, Lari Pati, Chreece and many more!
What’s a movie that has impacted your life most to date?
I often think about the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness” and its message to value what you have no matter how small and that you can define your own happiness.
If you had to remove all the apps from your phone except for 3, which would you keep?
Instagram, Twitter, and Safari.
Do you have a special talent?
My special talent would be performing or drawing.
