Living through a pandemic has provided us with a variety of new experiences – good, bad, and ugly. However, this one can be filed under unique. Indianapolis, the Sports Capital of the World, is getting a chance to do what only it can do – host (A LOT) of basketball games – in a way that hasn’t been done before. But, at the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, we are thinking beyond the court. The Cultural Trail, Georgia Street, and Lugar Plaza will be filled with visitors dancing their way into our city to support their team and experiencing our thriving downtown arts and culture scene for perhaps the first time.
We are excited to partner with the Indianapolis Arts Council to bring high-quality performances and a welcoming atmosphere to our spaces. However, we need the help of residents who live, work, and play in these areas to help us show off our city and exhibit true Hoosier Hospitality.
ICT is looking to hire a group of individuals to assist in various capacities as we host our guests before, during, and after the games! All of the details can be found in the job description linked below.
Five compelling reasons why you should work with us this March:
5. It’s not very often that 68 college basketball teams collide in one city – making this, potentially, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
4. Experience Indy’s world-class art and performances while you work. Discover local artists who may become your new favorite!
3. This is a chance to be outside and social in Covid-times. Those opportunities can be few and far between these days. Bonus: the weather is getting warmer but we have fire pits for the chilly days! *Masks will still be required.*
2. Make some extra cash! No further explanation is needed.
1. Show off our city! We residents know that Indianapolis is full of culture, art, and the world-class leader in urban trails and linear parks. Now is our opportunity to show the rest of the country why Indianapolis is a thriving city.
