Retro Indy content marketer: Everything old is news again

Is #ThrowbackThursday your favorite day of the week? The IndyStar is looking for a part-time intern to do content marketing and sales for its growing Retro Indy brand (amazingly cool vintage photos and associated products). You would be in charge of generating sales leads through e-mail and social channels; contributing to our Retro Indy social media accounts by developing strategies and tactics that grow and engage our target customers; and serving the needs of select local businesses who carry Retro Indy prints and products. We need this person to start immediately.

This project-based position, reporting to the newsroom, ends Dec. 24, 2015. Pay is $15 an hour with an expected work week of 15 to 20 hours.  Some weekend hours and attendance at events may be required. To apply, send your resume toAmanda.Kingsbury@indystar.com. Make sure to check out Retro Indy at http://www.indystar.com/life/retro_indy and tell us, in 100 words or fewer, what your favorite photo is and why.

The Star is looking to hire ASAP, so don’t wait around to apply if you’re interested.
