THE CLASS:

We’re making festive, delicious, holiday-themed sugar cookies! Made them before? Not like this! We’ll be learning icing techniques from a pro, as well as making a special holiday-light cookie. You can purchase a cookie-decorating kit, which comes with pre-made cookies and multiple icing bags + heads, or make your own cookies before the event kicks off and bring your own icing.

BRING TO THE CLASS:

Marsha’s Specialty Desserts in Indianapolis will be creating a special cookie-decorating kit for the event. The kit will allow you to experiment with different icing techniques and will include already-made cookies (they’re incredible bakers!). You can choose to either buy the kit (and support this wonderful local biz!), bring your own ingredients, or simply show up to watch.

BUY A COOKIE-DECORATING KIT:

o Kits are available for order from December 1st – 11th
o Order a kit for curbside pickup on their website
o Order a kit to be shipped (locally or out of state) by emailing
o If picking up curbside, you must pick it up on December 12th or 13th, 10am-3pm ONLY
o Kits are $20 each and include the below items

o 10 un-iced sugar cookies (snowflake, mitten, bell, tree,
ornament, star, round, candy cane, snowman)
o Icing bags (white, yellow, red, green, and blue)
o White chocolate decorations for the cookies

ABOUT THE BUSINESS:

Marsha’s Specialty Desserts and Tierney’s Catering is a family-owned business that began over 20 years ago, when they started catering for family. Soon, they extended to close friends and coworkers, and in October 2010, they officially opened their store location in Avon, Indiana. They won the “People’s Choice Award” at the Indianapolis Zoo’s Zoobilation party the past two years because well… their food is delicious! They sell all types of desserts and baked items, as well as savory foods to cater your next event.
