The Indy Burger Battle, hosted by Building Tomorrow, is back for a 9th year of slider fun from July 23-August 1! The famous burger competition will take on a 10-day passport-style format, where ticketholders get to taste our eight (and counting!) participating restaurants’ set of signature sliders and then vote for their favorite one, crowning the “People’s Choice Champion.” We’ll have a panel of judges to crown the “Critics’ Choice Champion,” and we’re excited to open up the “Best Veggie Burger” category to be more inclusive of our vegetarian friends! Tickets for a “burger passport,” valid for two slider-sized burgers from all participating restaurants, are on sale at indyburgerbattle.com, now through July 9 at 11:59pm for an Early Bird price of $35 and the Regular $40 price from July 10 through August 1, the last day of the event. We will crown the winning sliders in early August through a live Announcement of Winners ceremony, so follow our social media accounts (@bldgtomorrow) to see when and how you can tune in and find out if your favorite slider won! This exciting passport-style format allows Indy Burger Battle fans to support both Indy-area restaurants recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic and Building Tomorrow, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, in their mission to provide primary-school-aged children in rural Uganda with a quality education, a place where schools are currently closed due to a devastating surge in COVID cases.
