If These Walls Could Tell: Eagles Theatre

March 26, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

$15

Lou Ann Homan will premiere a story about the Eagles Theatre in Wabash, Indiana for the If These Walls Could Tell Series in collaboration with Indiana Landmarks. Each year, Indiana Landmarks and Storytelling Arts of Indiana commission a storyteller to develop and premiere a story about the recipient of the Cook Cup for Outstanding Restoration Award. In May 2022, Indiana Landmarks named the 2022 recipient, The Honeywell Foundation, for its $16 million rehabilitation of the Eagles Theatre.

Immediately following the premiere, we will host a book launch party for our latest book, “If These Walls Could Tell” including the twelve stories to date. Many of the storytellers will be present at the launch to autograph the book.

Lou Ann Homan lives in Angola, Indiana, where she teaches a Trine University and writes a weekly column for the local paper. This is her fourth commission for the If These Walls Could Tell Series.

This series, If These Walls Could Tell and the book, If These Walls Could Tell are possible because of the generosity of Frank and Katrina Basile.
