Indy Community Voices: Storytelling for Tenants’ Empowerment

November 6, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Please join us to share and listen to stories and experiences around rental housing and envision paths for housing stability in Indy, which is central to human and community nourishment.

We will share stories and experiences verbally, through art and audio, and hear from a panel of tenants starting at 6pm. You will also be able to consult with housing attorneys and the City of Indianapolis Tenant Navigators about eviction sealing and other questions you may have.

This event is part of the Spirit & Place Festival. The Spirit & Place Festival (Nov. 2-12) celebrates the powerful role the arts, humanities, and religion play in community life and is housed in the IU School of Liberal Arts in Indianapolis. Learn more at spiritandplace.org.
