How do you spend your days? For example, you can tell us about your career, side hustle or exercise routine whatever you want to share. We’re ready to listen.
I work a lot but I also enjoy exercising, watching movies and trying new restaurants with my wife, and cooking.
Where in Indianapolis did you grow up?
I grew up in Pike Township.
You’re off the clock, there are no expectations. What are you doing?
Cooking, eating at a new restaurant, watching a movie or catching up on our shows with my wife, or hanging out with family and friends.
When thinking about the future of Indianapolis, what are you most looking forward to in the next 5 years and why?
I’m excited for the continued development we’ve been seeing. Growing up here the thought process was always that there’s nothing to do in Indy. Now there’s a lot of development happening that are bringing exciting new things to our city – I think the biggest thing to maintain awareness of though is how these developments can be used to enhance our city and community by being as inclusive and equitable as possible.
Are there any local causes that you support? What are they and how might others learn more or get involved?
Young Men of Purpose (YMP) was big for me growing up.
You have a day off and you’re in Indianapolis. Share the agenda for your perfect Indy day.
I’d grab coffee and breakfast at either Provider, Longs Donuts, Gallery Pastry Shop or Milktooth. Then I’d catch a matinee at The Living Room movie theatre and then after get lunch at Fat Dan’s. Next I would get a shirt from Cargo Streetwear Botique and then grab dinner at either Livery, Ambrosia or Union 50.
If you were a superhero what would be your special trait?
I would definitely say teleportation!
You’re hosting an Indy-themed dinner party. What three guests are you inviting?
I’d invite Babyface, David Letterman, and Reggie Miller.
If you had to listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Don’t You Know That – Luther Vandross or The Glory – Kanye West.
Mornings or evenings?
Depends entirely on the activity. I like waking up early because it allows me to use more of my day, but I love having evenings free to do anything/nothing.
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
I Can’t Worry ‘Bout It – Cam
How do you define success?
I’d define success as finding peace where you are but constantly exhausting your potential.
