Enjoy seasonal playlists this fall and winter

Tis’ the season for fall weather- bonfires in the backyard, apple picking, cool weather, and warm apple cider! Grab those fall boots and headphones to make those cooler walks more animated– for the next few months, I’ll be creating seasonal playlists to get you in the perfect mood as the holidays unfold.

It can be tough trying to come up with the right musical content to share with others. (Is it just me or is everyone else a little tired of reruns of The Monster Mash or Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas..”) Whether you need something lively to listen to on your morning commute, or just something to listen to when you snuggle up by the fireplace, hopefully my playlist can provide some fresh perspectives on those mornings when you just want to hit snooze.

Music has always been a passion of mine. With dreams from an early age of becoming a singer, participating in choral and singing competitions, and playing instruments, I’ve always felt at ease when it comes to music. It will forever be a remedy of mine, and I am so excited to share some of my favorite tunes with the IndyHub community!

From October-December I will be making and sharing a playlist that gets you in the right mood for your vibe of the day, week, or month! One of the most fascinating things is seeing the shift of how 20- and 30-somethings are listening to music today. It’s not so much about a specific genre anymore, but about the events and activities we partake in and the songs we choose based on those events or feelings.

My song choice is always shifting based on who I am and what I’m doing. I hope that the songs I selected lift your spirits as much as they lift mine. Enjoy!
