There is no specific way to grieve or commemorate the life of a baby lost in pregnancy or infancy or a loved one who died while giving birth. We hope that the Black Maternal, Pregnancy, and Infant Loss Remembrance Service will provide a place for you to grieve with hope. The service includes messages of hope for grieving moms, grieving dads, grieving husbands, married couples, singles, those in waiting, children, extended family members, and relationships. Our prayer is that this service offers a time to reflect, honor, receive comfort from God, release, give thanks, and lean into the gift of spiritual renewal.

We will light a candle in our SBM Facebook Group for those engaging in meditation.

HOW TO WATCH

Registration is free. We will contact registrants in March with more information. A link to watch the service or join the FB group will be emailed to registrants on April 14, 2022.
