Anniversaries are a big deal to Calvin Fletcher’s Coffee Company. Fourteen years ago – before the Cultural Trail made Fletcher Place a designation in downtown Indianapolis – Calvin Fletcher’s Coffee Company set up shop on Virginia Avenue. Neighbors and friends faithfully supported the new venture from the beginning, making it possible for the fledgling business to become a thriving community.
This year’s anniversary celebration will say “thank you” by giving back to the Indianapolis community in a big way. BLEND, celebrating 14 years of coffee and community, will be held at the shop (647 Virginia Ave.) on October 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All proceeds from a silent auction held that day, in addition to 50% of all tips for the entire month of October, will benefit Coburn Place. Coburn Place offers compassionate support and safe housing choices to survivors of domestic violence and their children in the Greater Indianapolis area.
Come enjoy music, a drink, and the silent auction, all while helping to create new starts for survivors of domestic violence.
