September 17, 2021 - October 22, 2021
Free
See the work of Jason Schneider, an artist and furniture maker who has recently explored the possibilities of corrugated cardboard as a material. Schneider, an assistant professor of woodworking and furniture design at Northern Michigan University, created functional and sculptural objects that elevate this seemingly everyday material to a new level. He has shared his inventive creations with organizations such as Google, the Furniture Society, the American Association of Woodturners, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Penland School of Crafts, and many universities across the country.
“COLOR follows FORM follows TEXTURE,” which is supported in part by Herron’s furniture design program, will be on display through Oct. 22 in the Basile Gallery.
