For this class we will feature four NEW cheeses including nightshade, fromage frais, hops, and snapdragon paired with four wines. Engage with fellow enthusiasts in our intimate and inviting atmosphere, guided by experts in each craft. Meet the Experts
Laura Davenport is co-owner of Tulip Tree Creamery and a Certified Cheese Professional(R) by the American Cheese Society. Laura has been working in the cheese industry for over 20 years. As co-owner of Tulip Tree Creamery she’s responsible for the sales and marketing portion of the business which includes farmers markets, events and education (cheese making & cheese pairing classes). Tulip Tree Creamery is proud to source their milk locally within Indiana.
Brent Kumfer is co-owner and head vintner of The Rejoicing Vine Winery. Brent has been making wine for 10 years and received his wine education from the world-renowned University of California Davis. He also has a BS in Engineering and an MS in Innovation & Entreprenuership and worked in corporate innovation. Brent is courageously curious about creating a better world and is excited to be bringing that mindset to the wine industry.
