Die Hard Murder of the Red One?

December 7 @ 6:00 pm - December 21 @ 9:00 pm

$70.00

The Die Hard Murder of the Red One?

It’s the Holiday Season! It is a season to gather and celebrate joyously with friends and family. In fact, the word “together” derives from the phrase ” to gather.” Maybe. That’s probably something that can be looked up, but not now.

At any rate. The disappearance of Jolly Ol’ Nick has destroyed a fantastic celebratory event. Disappeared and presumed departed! That isn’t good.

Can the actions of two individuals ready for action provide the right action, acted on in enough time, to rescue the Red One and save the Holiday? Or will their actions be too late?

You can learn about it at the Mystery Cafe in Indianapolis.

After Santa Claus – Code Name: RED ONE – is kidnapped, the Captain of the North Pole’s Police Department (Wayne The Boulder Jackson) must team up with J McClane to save Christmas.

This Holiday show will spoof an old Holiday movie and a brand new Holiday movie, not to mention wrestling, the North Pole, and other well-known movies to save Christmas.

Yippee-Ki-Yay, Mothers, daughters, sons, and Fathers.

The Fun

Family-friendly murder Mystery Comedy Dinner Theater—Escape reality and immerse yourself into a make-believe world for the night. Our stories are about a fictitious group getting together when murder interrupts their proceedings. You, the audience, are written into the story as this fictitious group.

The Participating

It is VOLUNTARILY. Just say no if you don’t want to. Fifteen to 20 guests will play minor characters in the story with actual speaking lines. Just stand up at your dinner table and read your lines. There is no stage, and it is done right inside a banquet room of The Library Restaurant & Pub. Show us your best death scene if you are the victim. Delight your friends and family with your confession if you are the murderer. Two talented performers play multiple significant characters and help the audience move the story along.

The Dinner

Each play unfolds in four acts, with a course of the meal served after each one. Enjoy a dinner of Soup or Salad as your first course. The second course is your choice of 5 different entrees! The last course is delicious Cheesecake.

The Comedy

It is not a Shakespearean production but a light comedy. Think of it as the movie “Murder By Death” or “Clue,” where you will have fun being a part of it.

The Kids

You do not have to be 21 and older to see this Murder Mystery. There is no nudity or profanity, and the murder won’t gross you out or ruin your dinner. We want the kids to play parts in the show, so forget the babysitter and bring your kids.

The Game

When the first scene starts, look for clues and jot down anything that looks suspicious. Play detective during dinner.

At evening’s end, we give a prize to the person who best solves the mystery. We also provide an award for the biggest ham…uh, …the best actor or actress from the audience.

Every performance is unique because the audience is so directly and deeply involved.

The magic lies in the interaction and unbridled creativity in a room full of people who begin the evening as strangers but go home as friends.

Show takes place at The Library Restaurant & Pub. 2610 S Lynhurst Dr
