Dave Ricks is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eli Lilly and Company. He was elected Chairman of the company’s board effective June 2017. Over the span of his 20 year career with Eli Lilly, he has held high leadership roles with Lilly Bio-Medicines, Lilly USA , Lilly China, and Lilly Canada. Dave joined Lilly in 1996 as a Business Development Associate and held several management roles in U.S. marketing and sales before traveling the globe. He also serves in leadership roles on multiple philanthropic boards including International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA), Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Adobe, and Riley Children’s Foundation.
