Ivy Tech Indianapolis invites you and your family to join us for our free Family Activity Day, “The (W)hole in Our Hearts,” on Saturday, November 6 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. This event is a part of the The Spirit & Place Festival.

What is Spirit & Place?
The Spirit & Place Festival is an 11-day festival of events independently created and hosted by the community and supported by Spirit & Place. We provide a yearly theme, coaching on events, and promotional support. TOGETHER, we leverage our strengths and use the power of the arts, humanities, and religion to build civic bonds.

About the Family Activity Day
Art benefits everyone and this interactive event focuses on ways to actively integrate art into personal and community life to combat loneliness and loss. How can the arts help our collective mental health? We are looking for those answers and invite you to come explore with us at the Ivy Tech Family Activity Day. Community projects at this event include:
• Button making
• Community postcard installation
• Mandala coloring pages
• Painted affirmation stones
• Postcard printmaking project
• Zen mantra bracelets

Event is a partnership with the Ivy Tech Fine Arts and Early Childhood Education programs, Circle City Industrial Complex, Arts Council of Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Writers Center.
