IN-PERSON OPPORTUNITY:

Volunteer your time on Wednesday, December 8 from 4:00 – 5:30 pm in an interactive, in-person kit build program hosted at Greenlight Guru. UWCI’s kit build program is a meaningful, team-building volunteer opportunity helping companies boost employee engagement and foster teamwork. Participants will work together to assemble materials on-site to provide nutritious snack packs for children experiencing food insecurity. Aligning your philanthropic values with volunteerism gives participants the opportunity to give back to the community and to take initiative as a community leader. Join our holiday fun with a holiday mask contest, hot cocoa bar, and festive snacks provided, as well as a chance to reconnect with friends in the tech community – we can’t wait to see you there!

VIRTUAL GIVING OPPORTUNITY:

Participate in our virtual book fair by purchasing a book (or multiple books) for a child to take home over the holidays and build their own at home library. These books will benefit children in United Way’s ReadUP program, which helps students get on track and stay on track with grade-level literacy.
