Event Description:
Racism, according to civil rights leader Reverend Dr. William J. Barber II, is America’s original sin. Right now, in the midst of pandemic and uprising, many people are digging deeper into issues around race, racism, what led us to where we are now and how we move forward both individually and collectively. This series provides an opportunity to learn about how and why specific events unfolded in history, better understand the experiences of others, and come together to discuss these complicated issues with people outside of our most direct social spheres.
Over the course of eight weeks, participants will listen to segments of the podcast series and during our gatherings we will discuss issues covered in the episodes.
