We invite you to join us for the virtual dedication of a temporary art piece at the Indianapolis International Airport on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.

The unveiling of this mural will celebrate the life and accomplishments of Madam C.J. Walker and showcase the artist’s interpretation of Madam’s influence throughout the city. The mural, entitled Entrepreneurs Awakening: The Making of a Legacy by local artist Tasha Beckwith, is an Official Indianapolis Bicentennial Project and we’re honored to collectively unveil it during Black History Month.

The mural project was completed in partnership with the Arts Council of Indianapolis and the Madam Walker Legacy Center.
