Marilyn K. Glick Women’s Enrichment Series: The Presidential Panel

$25 – $75The Indianapolis Propylaeum presents the Marilyn K. Glick Women’s Enrichment Series, a multi-part celebration of women in central Indiana. Each event begins at 5:00 for conversation, drinks, and hors d’oeuvres, with the program following at 6:00.
The Marilyn K. Glick Women’s Enrichment Series offers a chance for the community to meet and hear the inspiring first-person stories from women leaders who hold all types of positions: philanthropists, pioneers in the judiciary, business leaders, athletes, and activists. The theme for the 2022-23 series is Lifelong Learning.
General Admission ticket holders will enjoy a reception in the mansion from 5:00 – 6:00 PM with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
VIP ticket holders will enjoy a VIP reception in the carriage house from 5:00 – 6:00 PM that includes a Meet and Greet reception with the speaker, an open bar, and reserved seating during the presentation. The program will begin at 6:00 PM in the mansion.
About our Speakers:
Thursday, February 23, 2023 – The Presidential Panel
The second installment of the series will feature a panel of three university presidents who will explore the importance of female leadership in higher education and Indiana’s emergence as a national model in this sphere. Deborah J. Curtis began her tenure as the 12th president of Indiana State University on January 3, 2018. She is the first female and only the second graduate of ISU to serve as president. Sue Ellspermann has more than 30 years experience in higher education, economic and workforce development, and public service. In January 2018, under Ellspermann’s leadership, Ivy Tech launched its new five-year Strategic Plan, “Our Communities. Your College. Pathways for Student Success and a Stronger Indiana.” Lori S. White was appointed the 21st president of DePauw University on March 4, 2020 and began her term on July 1, 2020. She is the first woman and first person of color to serve as DePauw’s president. The panel will be moderated by Diane Willis. Diane Willis is a six-time regional Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter with 20 years’ experience in television news in Indianapolis, Boston and St. Louis.
