ABOUT THE PANEL DISCUSSION
Discussing the death of a baby as a result of an ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth, and SIDS is considered to be taboo. Too many women and families suffer in silence without an idea of how to seek help. Indiana has a number of great organizations that are doing the good work of supporting a beloved infant loss community. Compassionate friends are needed to learn about pregnancy and infant loss, proactively share infant loss recourses with others, and to actively support infant loss organizations.

This session seeks to raise awareness of the kinds of supports that are available to women and families; provide insight to loved ones on how to provide support; and to discuss ways to support infant loss organizations.
