Event Description: Celebrate the return of the Indy 500 with MTN DEW’s “Project Green Means Go” – a massive, fan-inspired installation that will paint the city green with 500 flags spotlighting fan-submitted messages of support for the Indianapolis Community. Open to the public throughout race weekend, each of the 500 flags serves as a tribute to the hope and perseverance of the Indy Community throughout a difficult year and represents a $40 donation to the Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana and its “No One Runs On Empty” campaign on behalf of MTN DEW.

Project Green Means Go will kick off with a dedication ceremony hosted by INDYCAR driver Marco Andretti on Thursday, May 27 at 2p.m., where he will present Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana with a $20,000 check on behalf of MTN DEW. The immersive installation will remain in place throughout Indy 500 weekend (May 27 – 30), giving fans the chance to walk through Celebration Plaza for inspiration and to find their messages displayed on the green flags.
