Opening & Artist Talk // Justin Brown: Intelligence Countered

FreeJoin Hoy Polloy and I/C for the opening of Justin Brown: Intelligence Countered at Re:Public, and an artist talk moderated by Dr. Kelli Morgan, Associate Curator of American Art at Newfields. Doors open at 5:30pm and the artist talk begins at 6pm.
Intelligence Countered features a selection of work by Justin Brown from a complete series of surveilled American citizens from 1898 to contemporary times.
The exhibition also celebrates the launch of Re:Public, a collaborative space by Hoy Polloy and Indianapolis Contemporary to facilitate free, community-based programming, including regular exhibitions as well as an exterior art series.
Re:Public is located at 2301 East 10th Street, part of the 10 East Arts corridor. Parking is available at the location, and across the street at the John Boner Neighborhood Center.
