Pass the Torch for Women Foundation is doing something different. The second annual “Pass the Mic” is not just another event in the city, it is an experience that will bring together the community to hear from incredible female entrepreneurs, creatives, and community leaders. The purpose of this first-of-its-kind event is to bring people together in a new, exciting way. The motif of passing the mic comes from the Foundation’s commitment to serve as a curator of opportunities for the celebration of representation from all backgrounds and to give the stage to those whose story should be heard by all. The inspiring and fun evening will be spent in intentional community building, empowerment, and investing in ourselves and others in our own backyard. Plus, great food and entertainment! The Foundation is excited to position itself in being different in what matters and this event is a kickoff to a future of elevating our mission.
