Pass the Torch Day Virtual Celebration

The Foundation invites supporters to join us in celebrating Pass the Torch Day by hearing the importance of supporting and lifting up women in the community. The event will feature a Keynote Speaker and a special tribute to the graduating Project Grow 2022 class.
Join us on June 16th at 5:45pm to virtually celebrate and be inspired!

About our Keynote Speaker, Ashley Nora

In 2012, Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Anderson University and started her career as a Chemist. Although in a great career, Ashley realized her true passion was art. In 2019, she made the bold decision to leave her career in science to pursue art full-time. Ashley captures real moments of human interaction through portraiture using multiple mediums to express different ideas. Ashley travels the world and creates public art for people in every economic and social background to experience. Ashley believes that impact is more important than income, and her desire is to impact communities through her gift and inspire others to follow their dreams and do the same.

About Pass the Torch Day
The Foundation invites supporters to join us in celebrating Pass the Torch Day by sharing why it is important to support and lift-up women.
Wearing purple on June 16th and sharing group photos and videos
Posting on social media as to why they support the Foundation and how they pass the torch in the community
All postings should include #PTTDay22 and #PassTorch4Women
Companies can get involved by uploading videos and photos of employees wearing purple in support and sharing it on social media with the hashtag.

About the Project Grow Program
The Pass the Torch for Women Foundation’s Project Grow Program is a mentorship program intended for female college students who wish to achieve their goals for higher education and career advancement. This is an academic year-long engagement in which students receive free access to the Pass the Torch for Women Foundation mentoring program, monthly leadership development webinars, and modules surrounding personal and professional development topics. Students are matched with executive mentors for one-on-one sessions to address professional and soft-skill development.
