Clerical Error Productions, Inc. an Indianapolis based theatre company, is proud and excited to be collaborating with Indianapolis based and internationally produced playwright Mark Harvey Levine in this year’s IndyFringe Festival.

About the Play
Play by Play is a collection of fifteen very short plays that make wry observations about the human condition. Situations range from the mundane to the surreal with a commentator and announcer popping in from time to time to sum up the action and predict the outcome. Local actors Bryan Ball, Adam Crowe, Tracy Herring, TJ O’ Neil, Talor Ray, and Michelle Wafford perform multiple roles during this fast paced, minimalist production. Jon Lindley directs. Cameo appearances by assistant director Kate Duffy and producer David Molloy.

About the Playwright
Mark Harvey Levine has had over 1900 productions of his short plays everywhere from Bangalore to Bucharest and from Lima to London. His plays have won over 45 awards and been produced in more than ten languages. His work has been published in over two dozen anthologies by Applause, Smith & Kraus, Routledge and Vintage. Full evenings of his ten-minute plays, such as Cabfare For The Common Man, Didn’t See That Coming and A Very Special Holiday Special have been shown around the world, including at the Phoenix Theatre, the Edinburgh Fringe and in a multi-year tour of Brazil. Two of his plays were adapted for Brazilian television. A Spanish-language film of The Kiss (El Beso) premiered at Cannes and aired on HBO and DTV (Japan). He moved to Indianapolis in 2018 with his wife and son.
