Social/Action: A Closing Celebration with the Museum of Broken Relationships Indianapolis

FreeCelebrate the closing of the Museum of Broken Relationships Indianapolis exhibition with old friends and new ones, including community members you have yet to meet.
During the closing celebration, visitors can do the following:
Take one last look at the exhibition before it closes.
Participate in “Heart Swap,” a special program pairing visitors and prompts for interesting and unexpected conversations about object stories and experiences of love, loss, and growth.
Express yourself through “Artful Activism,” a drop-in poster-making activity, channeling your vision for community change into an artistic creation.
Meet with representatives from Indianapolis community groups to learn about what they do, gather resources and information, and learn how to get involved.
JOIN US IN PERSON
This event is free and open to the public. It will take place from 12:30 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, in the Berkshire, Reese and Paul Galleries of Eskenazi Hall.
Pre-registration via Eventbrite is encouraged and appreciated but not required.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
The Museum of Broken Relationships Indianapolis is a unique partnership between the IUPUI Museum Studies Program and the Museum of Broken Relationships. It will be on view in Eskenazi Hall’s Berkshire, Reese and Paul Galleries from Feb. 8 through April 22.
The exhibition is made possible by the Republic of Croatia Ministry of Culture and Media, the Edgar and Dorothy Fehnel Chair in International Studies fund, the IU School of Liberal Arts, and the IUPUI Center for Service and Learning.
