Dive into the world of theatre like never before as the curtain rises on the world premiere of “Thank You, Places” this August. Presented by IndyFringe, this evocative play is set to pull back the curtain on the intricacies of life in the theatre, exploring relationships, ambition, and identity.

As two stage actors prepare for closing night after a 20-year run, they reflect on the ups, downs, and in-betweens of their work. Set in the dressing room of a dinner theatre in Wichita, Kansas, Liz and Bradley have one last chance to reminisce about old times and contemplate an uncertain future. From opening to glowing reviews to closing as a forgotten tourist trap, these best friends deconstruct life upon the wicked stage. This two-hander comedy explores the power of friendship, the struggle for creative fulfillment, and the importance of making the most of your time.

The cast includes Indiana-based actor Jennifer Wells as Liz, a dedicated stage actor questioning her career choices. Oklahoma City-based actor Scotty Taylor takes on the role of Bradley, reflecting on what he might have missed while chasing the limelight. Directed and penned by Rodney Brazil, the play brings forth a symphony of emotions intertwined with the unique dynamics of theatre life.
