In 2010 and 2011 Butler University athletics took center stage as the underdog team for the NCAA men’s basketball finals, elevating the small Indiana university to the national spotlight. A decade later, Butler is still benefiting from the positive impact on its athletic programs, enrollment, student activity and overall brand awareness. This lively discussion will provide an inside glimpse of how the business of athletics has transformed the overall stature of Butler University over the years, from several different angles. Guests will have a chance to hear from Barry Collier, current Vice President / Director of Athletics, and former Butler men’s basketball team coach.
