Vonnegut Fest
November 11, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
FreeJoin us Wednesday, November 11 to celebrate VonnegutFest and Kurt’s Birthday. In honor of our Veterans, we will have free admission to the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
At 12:30, please join us for the unveiling of the quilt being donated to KVML by the Indy Modern Quilt Guild and enjoy tea and pastries provided by Tea’s Me Indy at KVML, 543 Indiana Avenue.
“Practicing an Art” was created by the Indianapolis Modern Quilt Guild for The Modern Quilt Guild’s QuiltCon 2020 Charity Quilt Challenge. Every year, this challenge is issued to local guilds with a theme and a color palette. The 2020 theme was text in a palette of grayscale. From design through construction, this was a collaborative project involving 23 guild members.
