IndyHub Wants to Know What Issues Matter Most to Millennial and Gen Z Leaders

INDIANAPOLIS –  The last two years have shone a powerful light on many issues facing our city, state and nation, including the COVID-19 pandemic, racial and social divisions, economic challenges and severe climate events. Millennial and Gen Z leaders are determined to hold themselves and others accountable on society’s most pressing issues, and they are working everyday to help build more inclusive and welcoming cities.

In preparation for the 3rd Annual Shape Our City Summit, IndyHub is administering a survey to assess what issues are top of mind for this critical segment of our city’s population.

“In every sector and in every corner of our community, 20- and 30-somethings are making a big impact,” said IndyHub president Blake Johnson. “As we look to the coming decade – and we consider the many challenges that await us – IndyHub wants to know what issues matter most to our city’s young (and young-ish) leaders.”

During the Shape Our City Summit, attendees will learn from civic, policy and community leaders to discuss all things Indy so that Millennial and Gen-Z can hear, share and be a part of the impact for change. The feedback gathered from the poll will provide guidance to curate sessions and discussions during the Summit so that residents can take action steps toward systemic change and foster a more equitable path to leadership in our city.

To participate, Indianapolis residents will rank and provide feedback on issues that are top of mind to help shape our city such as: healthcare and disease prevention; economic development; social and racial justice; climate change and more. The survey will close on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 12:00 AM.
