Jameson Camp is seeking to fill two full-time AmeriCorps VISTA positions that will be directly involved in development and community outreach. Community Liaison
Engage the local community! The Community Liaison VISTA will create and implement an outreach plan to connect new individuals, churches, schools, youth organizations, and businesses with Jameson Camps programs, facilities, and volunteer opportunities.
This position will arrange personal meetings with prospects identified in the outreach plan and work closely with Jameson staff to further build relationships with community partners. The Community Liaison VISTA will track new contacts and relationships in Jameson’s database. Development
Interested in fundraising for a growing nonprofit? The Development VISTA will create a five-year plan for diversifying revenue streams, specifically to increase individual and corporate support.
The Development VISTA will research new prospects for individual, corporate, and philanthropic gifts and create a master list of new prospects; help to build and update a donor database, automated donor reports, and database maintenance standards to support donor cultivation efforts; research direct mail campaigns and create an implementation plan; establish a donor cultivation and recognition system, and; create and assist with new special events.
