Job Title: Great Indy Cleanup (GIC) Community Coordinator
Full-/Part-Time: Full-time
Salary: $35,000-38,000

This position will connect the community to KIB programs to enhance public spaces, strengthen multi-year neighborhood partnerships, and build relationships between individuals and the natural world. This person will manage KIB’s Great Indy Cleanup program, assist with community engagement related to KIB’s IPL Project Greenspace program and provide further community outreach support.  The goal is to develop sustainable community-driven projects that will enhance the environment and the overall quality of life within the city’s neighborhoods.

  • Handle all duties related to the Great Indy Cleanup, including early community engagement, coordination with the City on weekly cleanups and deeper dive events, and management of the program administration.
  • Provide Community engagement expertise and leadership throughout the KIB placemaking process for one new project and past projects.
  • Assist with added community outreach support to the KIB Department of Community Engagement on the implementation and promotion of all KIB programs.
